The INhouse Trainer

The INhouse Trainer is an interactive training system for Macintosh® and Windows®. The INhouse Trainer has been developed as a comprehensive base for training of personnel involved in production activities.The program incorporates standard X-base database format which allows for easy importation of results into other databases.

The INhouse Trainer is a free standing run time application and does not require additional application software to run.

Windows :

Windows '95 or later is required. This can be under on an IBM compatible 486 or faster (Pentium and Win '95 recommended).

Apple:

The INhouse Trainer requires System 7 running under Multifinder. Ensure that your Macintosh is running under System 7.x or later.

Sound: The INhouse Trainer incorporates both Quicktime movies and sound files. A sound card, such as Sound Blaster® is requred to support this feature.

Fonts: The INhouse Trainer includes a text file which contains translators for standard Mac and Windows fonts.

For Apple, the required fonts are : Helvetica, Monaco,Comic Sans PC and Chicago.

For Windows, Arial 14 & 18pt and Comic Sans should be installed.

 

Ram: At least 16 MB of RAM allocation is required.

 

Colour: 256 Colour support (SVGA) is required.

 

Hard Drive: Due to the interactive structure, and for security and record keeping requirements, it is preferable load onto a hard disk drive. Up to 60 individual files are contained in the full version of the INhouse Trainer, and these are required to be maintained together, in the correct loaded folder or directory sequence.

There should be at least 50MB of available storage on the hard drive.

[ Note: The INhouse Trainer may run with less than the minimum requirements but performance is likely to be disappointing. Lower configurations have not been tested and are not supported.]
